Cindy Sherman

Cindy Sherman has done a series of photographs: Untitled Film Stills 1977-1980. In these photographs she poses in different roles and settings resembling moments in film. I thought that  looking at her work would be a give me inspiration and some ideas on how I will successfully make my staged photographs , look realistic and convincing.

I like her work because they look like film stills because of attention to detail with the costume, make-up and just the overall mise-en-scene is what helps make it look convincing. For my photographs to have great impact and sophistication that hers have I will have to make sure that my shoots are meticulously planned.
