Gregory Crewdson

Photographer Gregory Crewdson took a created a series of stage photographs titled ‘Twilight’. He re-constructs film stills and . Even though I won’t be going down this route, I really like his photographs because they have a hint of surrealism and eeriness to them, which I think makes them aesthetically pleasing/interesting to look at which also opens them up to a variety of interpretations. I also like the use of lighting because it give the photograph that surrealistic atmosphere.

I am planning on looking into more photographers who stage their photographs for information and inspiration for my own project.
